Daycare Dance

Class Description

All classes are 45-minutes in length. This includes: a thorough warm-up through various games and stretches, center work, across the floor movement and fun dress-up opportunities paired with freestyle dance games to end the class!

Please note: while the above structure is ideal for each class, I do take into considerations the needs of each child individually as well as a whole that day. Some of the aforementioned sections may be subject to change based on classroom observations.

Dance Attire

No formal dance attire will be required for these fun-filled, technical classes. However, I do ask that children come to the daycare wearing clothing that is easily moved in. Socks are encouraged but not required unless otherwise specified by the daycare facility. Shoes will not be worn at the discretion of the facility. Ballet shoes are also encouraged, but are not required. What matters most is that your child is comfortable and safe while taking class.

Registration Information

Registration is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Spots are not held in classes, as classes are capped at 8 children in order to provide the best quality instruction, as well as foster a physically safe space for movement.

Each program session offers four, 45 minute classes to your child.

The monthly schedule, as designated by your daycare provider will either include 2 classes a week for 2 weeks out of the month, or 1 class for each of the 4 weeks.

Registration forms for returning participants will be required upon each new session sign-up.

Tuition

A tuition payment must be made in order to hold your child’s spot in the class.

Tuition payment can be made through cash, check and MUST be paid on or by the 1st class meeting

As this program runs on a month-to-month basis, there is no long-term commitment. However, no partial or total refunds will be given to participants who miss classes or choose not to participate for the remainder of the program once tuition has been paid for that month.

In the event a class is canceled due to inclement weather or at the need of the daycare facility, I will work with the school to provide a make-up class that is as convenient to all participants as possible.

Check payments may be handed directly to Kelsey, or left with the front desk
